Are you a teacher in Italy? Use your Carta del Docente for our professional development course for Spanish teachers

From July 19 to 23, 2027, we are running our advanced course for teachers of Spanish as a foreign language (ELE) in Málaga: 20 hours of workshops with specialists in Spanish language teaching and, in the afternoons, cultural activities. The course costs €550 and there are 20 places. If you teach in an Italian state school, you can pay for it with the Carta del Docente.

The course at a glance

Dates: Monday, July 19 to Friday, July 23, 2027.
Where: at our school in Rincón de la Victoria (Málaga), right on the seafront.
Training: 20 hours of workshops in the mornings with specialists in Spanish language teaching. The 2027 trainers are yet to be confirmed.
Afternoons: cultural activities with the other participants.
Places: 20 at most, assigned in order of registration.
Price: €550. Accommodation is not included, but we help you find it.
At the end: certificate of attendance.

Who it is for

For practicing Spanish teachers who want to update their skills alongside colleagues from other countries: no theory for the drawer, but ideas and materials you can bring to class in September. The course is taught in Spanish.

How to use the Carta del Docente

The Carta del Docente can be spent on professional development and qualification courses. Write to us when you register and we will tell you the procedure to follow.

The amount of the Carta for 2026/27 has not been set yet (in 2025/26 it was €383). Funds left unspent in 2025/26 can also be used in 2026/27.

What about Erasmus+?

If your school has an Erasmus+ staff mobility project, the course can be part of it. Write to us and we will send you the documentation for the project.
