Who are we?
The teaching and creative team at La Playa Idiomas is made up of qualified teachers specialized in teaching foreign languages. The teachers are native speakers of the language they teach, well versed in the Spanish language and with extensive international experience.
We specialize in teaching adults, teenagers and children, as well as in foreign language teacher training. Our strong point is the quality of the teaching we provide, endorsed and accredited by relevant institutions such as Instituto Cervantes, Cambridge University or Trinity College London.
In addition to institutional accreditation, the guarantee of a job well done lies in the trust our students place in us year after year, reinforced by the improvement in the academic results they obtain, and in the high evaluation they have of our teaching staff.

How do we work?
We believe that honest, close and quality teaching begins with knowing the needs and interests of our students. In enhancing their strengths and working on their communication shortcomings.
Our classes are enjoyable and effective, based on a communicative methodology that promotes listening comprehension and oral expression. We work with small groups and a personalized monitoring of learning progress.
Therefore, all the courses we offer are based on the same methodology: fostering communication skills (oral expression, oral interaction and listening comprehension) with attention to grammar and formal elements. The initial levels focus on linguistic interaction (knowing how to defend yourself in another language, in basic communicative situations), while the intermediate and advanced levels focus the didactic interest on the expansion of content and communicative resources.
We have a Virtual Classroom where we shift the workload on reading and writing skills and lexical-grammatical structure reinforcement, which allows us to make the classes (both online and face-to-face) more interactive and communication-based. And above all: we have expert teachers who know how to make them dynamic.
