At Hablandis we teach French the way we teach all our languages: by speaking. Small groups, native teachers and a year-long course that follows the school calendar, from late September to June. For children, teenagers and adults, each with their own group and pace.

When can I start?

For children (ages 3 to 11)
They learn French by playing: songs, games and small projects that give them the confidence to speak without fear of making mistakes. Two 55-minute classes a week, in the afternoon on alternate days.
- Ages 3 to 5: immersion through play and songs.
- Ages 6 to 8: first structures and dialogues.
- Ages 9 to 11: consolidation and broader communication.

Useful French for school and whatever comes next: travel, exchanges, studies. Groups by level, from A1 to B2, and two afternoon classes a week that fit around the school day.

To use French at work, on a trip, or to read and watch films in the original version. Grammar understood as a system, not a list of rules; and plenty of conversation, in small groups where everyone has time to speak. From A1 to C1, with morning and afternoon schedules.

Who are the French courses for?

It is a year-long course of 75 teaching hours, with two classes a week. It starts in late September and ends in late June.
Which levels do you offer?
For adults, from A1 to C1; for teenagers, from A1 to B2. Children are grouped by age. Before you start, we give you a placement test so you join the right group.
Who teaches the classes?
Qualified native teachers with experience teaching French to each age group.
How much does it cost?
Children and teenagers: €56 a month by direct debit, €60 for a single month or €150 per term. Adults: €63 a month by direct debit, €70 for a single month or €175 per term.
Can I join partway through the year?
Yes. The course starts in late September, but you can ask us about available places at any time of year.
Can I take the course as private lessons?
Yes. If you prefer a schedule and pace that suit you, we also offer the course as private lessons. Write to us and we will put together a proposal.
